I've been teaching myself to play the guitar for about three days now,
and of course my fingers hurt a lot. Upon researching this, I learned
that guitar players get calluses on their fingers that prevent this
pain. However, as a girl, I am kind of hesitant. I don't want to be a
professional guitarist or anything - I am just playing for fun. I'm
not sure I want unattractive calluses on my fingers, but they hurt so
much? Any suggestions/advice on this?
