What is that one high pitched 80's song?

I have no idea what any of the lyrics are but it is kind of
repetitive. It sounds like it is from the 80's but I could be wrong.
The beat is kind of fast. It is not "Take on Me" by A-Ha, however the
voice sounds similar. The really high pitched part of "Take on Me"
sounds like the main part of this other song. The singer sings the
main line of the song, and drags it out for a few seconds, then
repeats it again at normal speed. I am not sure if it is a male or
female singer, but I think male. It is a really well known song, I'm
sure most people have at least heard it. I know i don't have a lot of
information, but any help would be appreciated!!
